Introducing the Aevum x Ando Turbo Fan Super-lite titanium automatic, a masterpiece meticulously crafted for automotive enthusiasts seeking unparalleled quality. This watch features a handcrafted grade 5 titanium case and case back, complemented by a handmade grade 2 titanium chapter ring. The distinctive dial, designed collaboratively by Aevum and Ando Ando Ando, exudes the essence of racing style with its turbo fan wheel cover design. Paired with a beautiful and soft handmade Italian leather watch strap and a matching carry case, this timepiece promises to capture the relentless spirit of automotive excellence in every detail.
Currently we have a total of 10 of these dials which we may expand on in the future possibly in a different colour sequence.
NOTE: We will absolutely be bringing out more Aevum x Ando Turbo Fan handmade Super-lite titanium timepieces, but as we are making them on a lathe, they will appear on the site as they are completed vs as a large stock. Aevum x Ando models are made in a similar configuration, but each is uniquely different - each Aevum x Ando is made with technical drawings ONLY for the internal housing and sealing of the movement - all exterior conturing is done in the moment.
Full Aevum Aevum x Ando Turbo Fan Super-lite Titanium Automatic specifications:
Dimensions: 42.5mm wide x 47mm lug to lug, 20mm lug width, 14.5mm thick on the wrist (including sapphire crystal in measurement).
Case: Handmade lathe turned Ti-6Al-4V Grade 5 titanium.
Movement: NH-35 automatic 3 hand movement with a 41 hour power reserve.
Water resistance: estimated low at 3ATM until we decide on which pressure tester we'd like to have in-house, however these are 0.8mm rear compression gasketed with tripple screw down crowns so we suspect they'll perform at a much higher ATM rating, we just can't confirm the numbers yet.
Crystal: thick double domed and high chamfered sapphire crystal with blue tinge anti-reflection coating.
Dial: Turbo fan wheel cover inspired design with bespoke dark chrome hands. blue in the day, green at night lumed indices and dial splatter marks.
Crown: 7mm Aevum double-wrench artwork and high grip knurled crown. Screw down tripple gasket design.
Case back: Handmade lathe turned bolt down case back with hand torched blue finish that locks down a 0.8mm compression gasket for water resistance. The case back also features an Aevum signature crown slot where the finishing of the crown seat is milled straight through the case back for a unique asymetrical look from the back side.
Leather strap: The Aevum x Ando Turbo Fan Super-lite titanium automatic comes with one 100% handmade by us in-house Italian grey leather strap. This one is finished in a accent matched blue and purple stitch to compliment the hand torched titanium chapter ring. It is tapered from 20mm to 18mm at the laser engraved Aevum buckle.
